What do people mean when they refer to themselves as transgender or nonbinary? Right now transgender and nonbinary people are frequently in the news, usually in connection with fearful backlashes and anti-trans legislation. How can the Church respond in a Christlike way?
The best place to start is by hearing from trans and nonbinary people directly. In this series, we will listen to the stories of several individuals who have unique experiences of gender. The goal is not debate, but rather to see the faces and hear the voices of real people whose stories can help us to see the world through their eyes. I’m excited to introduce you to these guests!
While I frequently speak and write on sexuality, I’m less versed in the gender identity conversation. I’m still learning. Come learn alongside me.
